Day 2 of Ride - Update

I just heard from Brian!

"Email and wireless not working. Day was very hard. Almost had to quit today. Miracle I kept going."

Glad to hear that he is well and proud that he did not take the sweep van today. Although, as Brian's dad just told me, "There is no shame in taking the sweep van!" Keep it up, Brian!

I hope it gets better for Brian after he gets a rhythm going. We are rooting for him and there is absolutely no shame in taking the Sweep Van. We are behind you all the way Brian!

Supporting a great charity

Most "End to End" cycling rides across Britain are done in support of charities. My ride is no exception. I am supporting Ronald McDonald House Charities of Tampa Bay ("RMH"). Ronald McDonald House is truly a great charity that has done so much to help kids and families here in the Tampa Bay area and from around the world. Both my boys volunteered at the House when they were in high school. My wife Joo Hooi has worked at RMH for many years, and she presently serves as the Donor Relations Manager. As a family, we are very loyal to this charity that does so much good.
