Day 8 - Almost Done

Day 8 - Fort William to Kyle of Sutherland, 111 miles with 5,301 ft total climb.

Brian reported:

"Good day. Weather was quite good. Two big climbs, very tough and steep. Walked a bit on one. No real rain today - yea! Ready for it to be over, but very glad I did it. Last ride will be challenging too."

I saw some photos from the Deloitte RAB site. They went through some beautiful scenery, including Loch Ness.

Brian sounds very tired. Tomorrow is the last day. Yes, it does look challenging.

Supporting a great charity

Most "End to End" cycling rides across Britain are done in support of charities. My ride is no exception. I am supporting Ronald McDonald House Charities of Tampa Bay ("RMH"). Ronald McDonald House is truly a great charity that has done so much to help kids and families here in the Tampa Bay area and from around the world. Both my boys volunteered at the House when they were in high school. My wife Joo Hooi has worked at RMH for many years, and she presently serves as the Donor Relations Manager. As a family, we are very loyal to this charity that does so much good.
